Evening all.
Family Christmas/New Year gathering successfully completed. My cousins daughter (my second cousin?) is very cute (she'll be 2 in January) and very well behaved.
Just got to work out what I'm doing tomorrow night.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the day folks.

Morning all, Couldn't get to sleep, so got up about 04:00 to try and avoid waking up Mrs. V. every time I turned over. Came downstairs and now the PC won't start up except in safe mode... So much for getting some dissertation work done... Morning.
Slept quite well, but woke with a neck ache. Good start, thinks I.
So, cats are fed, I've taken my bones pill, and now I have to wait a while before I can feed Best Beloved and me.
Happy end of the year. We shall be not celebrating by having an early night tonight. See you in 2011!

Morning all
Still waiting for the postie, as soon as he arrives I've got a 3-4 hour drive back to London then a quick bag packing before another 30 mile drive to a friends for NYE drinks.
ION the middle finger on my right hand has swollen at the tip and is rather painful. No idea how I did it.

Lo peeps
Looking forward to 2011 with a bit more enthusiasm than the same time last year. I know that several of you have not had the best of years and to you I really do wish a much, much better 2011. For the rest of you that seem to bimble through life without the 'episodes' that the rest of us suffer, I also wish you all the best for 2011.
And finally to the chap who makes this place possible (and his helpers) - thanks. There are few other forums that generate the sort of online friendships where people actually care enough to help each other. This place is a necessary part of my daily routine, where I can pop in and comment or lurk in the background and just peruse what's happening in our little world.
Hope you all have a good one in 2011.
