Haha, I wouldn't call all of my posts spam...*looks innocent*
I've been very excitable since Thursday, come Monday I'll have calmed down a lot and will probably only post a couple of times a day...

I know what you mean, the first night when people were joining, and all of the next day I was super-excited and loved seeing familiar faces as they joined up and started talking. It didn't take long to start to feel homey here, and the spam-attack on the last day before they closed down the old meeting place was just great fun.

I might calm down, knowing me though I probably won't :D

Heh. I think, once the x404 launch party winds down, things will become a bit more like the old place.

Good to see you about, CC. I'd hate to think we'd lost the Forum Cat in the move.

Don't we need to put butter on his paws or something so that he doesn't try and go back to his old home?

That's a bit of a myth, sadly. The idea was the cat would be so intent on cleaning his paws he'd not notice the house change around him.

These days, they reckon you should keep the cat indoors for at least a week so they can get used to the new place, peer out the windows and crap under the bed and stuff. Then you can sort of let them outside in the garden under supervision until you feel happy they're not up to mischief or upsetting the local moggies too much.

It’s certainly more lively than the old place. Maybe this is what we needed - a non corporate place to chat.

Puzzled - let out under supervision? :?

What, you watch the cat wander around the garden for a few minutes, then call 'Come back' if / when it jumps over the fence and away at top speed? :P

No, I don't have a cat - never found them to be too obedient

Ours come to their names. Even from a couple of gardens away. ;)
