Someone's taken my desk! I've only got a single screen, and having to re-checkout the codebase again. And I'm an SDK short of a party. This keyboard's nicer than mine, though!

New job keeping me busy, plus hardly seeing my girlfriend of late, means that I am hardly on the net at the moment - other than searching for infomation specifically related to my job.

First time I've had more than 5 minutes in a day to actuall look at posts here...

Morning.

Why does a good night's sleep mean I should feel like crap when I wake up? I thought sleep was supposed to refresh you.

Good night's sleep? Not had one of those for years.

Thankfully managed to get back to sleep after waking up in the early hours scratching the crap out of my back.

Nom nom, anti-biotics and steroids for breakfast.

Have a good day all.

:D

Morning all.

Started quite well, but now I'm in a grumpy mood. BBC News broke into (and didn't show the remainder of) Click - they seem to do this about once every two weeks at the moment - to announce that a British hostage in Afghanistan had been killed while the authorities were attempting a rescue. Now this is very sad and in fact reasonably newsworthy..... (and you know what's coming here) but

1) It happened hours ago anyway, so it's not as if it's something that happened 'live' that they needed to show happening
2) I'm fairly sure she'd still be dead regardless of whether they interrupted Click or not.

The most irritating part of it was the anchor announced a summary of the item (which took about 15 seconds), then passed over to their 'middle east correspondant', asking what else she had heard about the events that had happened 'just hours' before. The correspondant's answer? 'well, nothing I'm afraid'. They've cancelled a show which has actually quite a big audience just to make sure they were 'the first to bring you' a news story which in fact they knew next to nothing about.

Gah!

Morning all,

Things to do today:

Work out a lesson plan for thr Art & Design ND1 group, (English) to deliver on Wednesday.
Take some test portrait shots with my flash kit.
But first... a nice cup of tea!

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Morning all.
Starting to brighten up in London.

Currently migrating physical servers to virtual servers, live on a production environment, on my day off.
