Hmm, interesting day yesterday.
There's a manager position going at work on another campaign, which would be worse hours but a 30% pay rise on my current position.
My niece is currently in hospital with meningitus, although is responding very well to treatment, which is a relief.
Got a rather belated wedding present which was entirely unexpected and rather substantial.

Morning all.
Started the day with a nice email to someone who's moaning about the new firewall blocking their remote connection (old IT support guy for a company), they went in to great length explaining why it was the problem and what they think the solution is.
I replied explaining the simple fact that the firewall wasn't even plugged in so it probably wasn't the issue. ASA's are good but not that good.

Deep joy, the sister-in-law has now been admitted to hospital with meningitis as well. I'm waiting to hear from the doctor's surgery as to whether I can go in to work or not, given the quarantine period.

Heading off to Barmouth today, back to Mach, then heading to Birmingham International, I'll then be riding to Shrewsbury where I'll be relieved by a colleague and then have to get another train back to Mach so I can drive home...
