Wow! That's better than a train ride I'd already paid for!

I deleted this after I posted it initially, so as to avoid stealing Mark's thunder, but I think enough time has elapsed now to link to my video of Iceland, featuring some bloke introducing us to a montage of footage of water in its various states: http://vimeo.com/15004288

Wasn't there a firmware update to bring you 25fps recently? Otherwise I'd suggest running it through some software to nudge it into 25fps. Not as tidy, but still. Very nice, btw.

The firmware update introduced 24fps, which I prefer. Can't really afford Final Cut Studio or Premiere right now. I'd have to redo all the clips to 25 but have yet to find software that does this. Glad you like it though; thanks :)

Alex, you're the only other person that I thought would've noticed that.

Well I did explicitly mention it on the vid's description!

I think that VisualHub will do framerate adjustment during a re-encode. If you went from the .mov from the Canon to a DV file maybe?

Do DV files support 1080p?

Oh, of course you're doing full fat HD. I'm not sure if it'll do full HD, actually. What's your current work flow?

Shoot, batch transcode to Apple Intermediate Codec, edit in Final Cut Express, export.

Ah. It would've helped if I'd actually seen it on Vimeo. I've only seen the FTP and Fb versions. I've just been to the Vimeo link now and yes, I can see that you have actually mentioned it. Mark
