Morning all,
Busy day of house cleaning and some shopping, then hopefully I'll have enough cash to go out for Birthday drinks with Faye this evening. I'm also popping into the home brew shop to spec out some ingredients for beer, I'll give the list to Faye when I get paid and then I can get some beer started, bought 23 1 litre bottle from Ikea the other week waiting for beer to be put in them!

Afternoon Just waiting for the sealant to go off so that I can clean the bathroom and call the repair finished. Can't wait too long though because Mrs. Bucket is going to kill me soon. Currently I'm bending Firefox to how I want to use it. I'm just wondering whether: - I can manage without the status bar or not
- There's a way I could have the buttons on a sidebar - I have a widescreen monitor and it makes no sense to me to constantly lose vertical space

Afternoon,
The flood warnings are supposed to be lifted this evening, the Hase is still at a record high and a lot of the roads are still closed, but the water is going down. We had over 130L/M² rain in the last 24 hours, which caused widespread flooding, the firebrigade had to pump out over 1,000 cellars in Osnabrück.

Morning (esp. Amnesia as he's the only one here atm). Couldn't sleep so I gave up to let Mrs. Bucket sleep Bathroom is finished and looks good. Have disabled NoScript as it was making FF chug - looks as though everybody's favourite add-on has become as bloated as the browser it runs on. Very sad

Morning all, still cloudy and some rain, but the Hase seems to be going back down, according to reports. Luckily our cellar didn't flood (that is where my office is, with all of my computers!). We found a dead mole under one of the sofa cushions in the TV room in the cellar!

I wanted to go into town today but all I can hear is the wind blowing like mad and it's a long walk, so fcuk that, I'll go tomorrow. I plan on drinking lots of Coke and watching a bunch of films today I'd completely forgotten to put it on my netbook... Well, you've inadvertently helped me since I've been switching off and disabling a few plugins in my FF installation, so cheers

Lo peeps Raft race day and it's showery with high winds. Last time they ran the race in conditions like these they had to abandon it due to most of the competitors struggling to reach the finish point. There is a short display from the chaps at 202Sqn 'D' Flight though but I can't decide whether to cross the footbridge before it closes for the race (90 minutes before the start) and get the sun behind me or just stay on the town side and get pics like the past several years. Either way I may have to abandon the shorts - it's just too bloody cold..... Yup Main shop at Asda (cheaper) followed by Lidl for a few bits (much cheapness) then on to Tesco for the bits she 'genuinely likes' (less cheapness) and then a short burst to Aldi for a saunter round the 'I know what I want when I see it' products Weekend shopping is the pits.... Al
