Morning all,

As I'm still on my 30 day notice period I can't start work until the end of the month, (assuming I can find a job) and I am getting depressed...

Anyway...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Well given the fact that this is my first visit of the day it probably says something about the day I've had.

Between Dave and Jon we are doing too well at the moment are we.

Morning all

went to bed early yesterday, had a bad headache, it is gone this morning, but stiff neck is threatening to bring it back.

First day back at work went well. Found out they had a power failure last week and the UPS batteries died. Trying to test them yesterday caused the whole server stack to turn off, without shutting down...

TFIF! Feels like I've been waiting for this Friday for a looooong time. *hugs* to them as needs it, hope everyone has a quieter, more peaceful day than I'm gonna, *and* I'm working the 4pm today which means late in the pub :( but at least it's the weekend and I haven't got to work late for another 3 weeks :D

Silver lining anyone? 8-)

I have a silver lining: the sun's shining here in Chavham.

The neck is slowly fixing itself. Being up and about seems to be the best cure, rather than my immediate preferred option of staying in bed.

And that's all there is to report on this fine day.

*wave*

Morning all,

Was in bed sensibly early last night, but still struggled to drag myself to the shower this morning.

9.20am and I'm flagging already. It's gunna be one of those coffee, fag, coffee, fag-fuelled days.

Still, I can look forward to a long weekend - some friends coming to visit tomorrow and I'm at a cricket match with some beer-monster customers all day sunday (I don't like cricket, but the beer will numb the pain), then I plan to chill out at the beach with the kids on Monday (weather permitting).

Have a good one.

Afternoon

Made Rye Soda bread for Mrs. B this morning before she got up - mega brownie points 8-)

Just putting some finishing touches to some GUI mods before I submit them to openSUSE - maybe someone will like them.
