Morning all.
Already awake & showered & it's not even 6:30am.
Got a fun day ahead of me rescuing a contract. Looks like the phone engineers are trying to shaft us. Revenge will be sweet.

Morning all,

Somebody rang the bloody door bell at 8... By the time I'd gotten out of bed, hobbled down stairs on my crutches and pulled one of the stitches, they had buggered off!

So come september I shall have two more scars and look black and blue but on the plus side I should get a few days off work :D

Morning.

Can someone let me know if they find my regular sleep pattern? I've lost it, and I'm not happy about it. Thanks.

The misgogs keep floating about. Both BB and me are up and down like yo-yos. Not at all sure what we can do about it, to be honest. So, we'll try and struggle through it as best we can, in the English way.

Extra hugs for Tim today, as his doggy had to be put to sleep yesterday. Extra hugs for anyone else who feels they need them are available from the extra hugs window. Please form an orderly queue.

*wave*

Morning

Ditto hugs to Mark

I didn't sleep well last night either. Think the it's the heat though I've ditched the huge duvet for a light eiderdown.

Early start this morning - was up at 6am. Got to work in record time of an hour and 4 minutes instead of the usual hour and 20.

HAGD all

Carolyn

Morning all. Additional notification of thoughts to those who need them.

I didn't sleep much at all last night. I really could rather do with the NHS hurrying up a bit. And then I woke up to find me knee all swollen and painful. It best stay put, as I've no time to be faffing about dealing with it at the moment, and realistically there's only a 1-month slot between now and June next year. It's a little disconcerting that I don't think I've done anything to cause it, though.

I also discovered the water was off this morning, but at least I've got the hot water tank nearly full. Hopefully that'll get fixed soon. And it's raining. Great.

Morning all,

Back to work today, after a few days off.

Took the kids up to Cowes, to see the boats, and to see the wotwot aristo-wannabes make complete arses of themselves, in front of we lesser mortals. All in all, quite enjoyable.

Have a good one.

[edit] Sorry to hear about your four legged friend, Mark.

Morning.

Between us, we've cooked up a little hobby project that's managed to kickstart Best Beloved's brain cell again. He was almost chipper yesterday, so let's hope we can sustain the levels of enthusiasm for a while.

My sleep pattern is still AWOL. One of the moggies has also decided that sometime while it's still actually dark is a brilliant time to pester to be let out. She gets things lobbed at her until comprehension arrives, and she scuttles off until breakfast!

Best Beloved is seeing a specialist optician this afternoon, to see if there's anything that can be done to fix his eyeballs. We're hopeful something can be done so he can at least read large print without a lot of anguish and squinting. I suspect you'll know about it tomorrow.

Cripes. That was a long FPoTD.

Morning all,

had a bad coughing attack last night and was wheezing for an hour or so afterwards. :( Chest is still on the border to start wheezing again (I can feel it, but I'm not actually wheezing). Don't know what has caused it, could be weather or the lack of excercise (with my foot keeping me pretty much couch-bound for 2 weeks.

Getting the stitches out this afternoon, so hopefully I can start moving around a bit more...
