For whatever reason, I keep getting SQL errors trying to post the text in here. http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/news/My ... ticle.htmlJust so happens that this summer's theme at work is 'Marine Myths and Legends', and this is happening on our door step. Synchronicity?

It is good to see that the Loch Ness Monster is having a staycation.

Well, with all these cutbacks, the costs of moving a large prehistoric monster to the Pacific for a bit of a swim is far too costly these days.

Favoured theory at work at the moment is that it's an out of place Leopard seal.

Had I had my soft-and-out-of-focus lens on the camera I'd have snapped it without doubt

Soft focus always enhances monster pictures but I suppose that it was not to know that.

Sway of opinion at work seems to be either: A.) Baby sperm whale. There was a mother and calf seen a few weeks ago in the area. B.) A misplaced Leather Back Turtle, as there's usually some off the Welsh coast nomming on the jelly fish at this time of year.
