i tend to look up a few... gamespot... IGN... GameSpy... a couple of others i can't remember off-hand...

I have a CVG RSS feed on my homepage which as the OP pointed out, is a good site to use for news etc. =]

I also mix between Gametrailers and Hexus as well although they aren't quite as quick as CVG although the articles tend to be better, especially for the latter.
