We all know nothing will be happen. What should happen is that Ferrari are disqualified from the race and the points flow down to 3rd, 4th & etc. What will happen is there will be a long drawn-out fudge at the end of which Ferrari will be fined an amount of money they spend in about 10 minutes on engine development. Well, it's a 100k fine for Ferrari and it's been passed to the WMC so there could be further sanctions. Glad something is being done about it.

Also on BBC... Ferrari fined $100,000 but result standsAs I understand it, the results still stand and no further action to be taken. As expected, really!! $100,000 is peanuts to Ferrari - this will only result in more teams issuing team orders, £100K is cheap if you want to dictate the order.

Did you see just how many people were already walking away before the podium ceremony?

Can someone please tell Fernando that if the car infront is marginally slower then its his job to overtake. Its not the fracking M1 - flash your bleeding headlights and get the guy to move over!

The 100 grand fine on it's own is a joke.
They should also reverse the result and give Massa the win, at the very least.
I would prefer it if they imposed a points penalty on the team too.

100k is a joke. I wonder what the punishment would be had it been another team giving out orders?

Most anyone else : Loss of any points earned from this race, $100K fine. Mclaren : Disqualificiation from F1 forever, both drivers banned from using any form of transport faster than a pedal cycle for 10 years. Management publicly executed and all company facilities destroyed by orbital bombardment. Jon

The teams will treat it as an occupational hazard.

I see if it was Mclaren your advocating a lenient punishment FIA= ferrari international assistance once again. Alonso= one big crybaby that needs a good slap and told to grow up and act his shoe size not his IQ. I dont care who wins this year as long as its not Alonso!!!

I can't read the article whilst at work, but on the Beeb there's a headline "Jordan wants orders rule scrapped". You'd never have guessed after yesterday's footage, would you!

Well... yesterday he was saying that the rule is in place and while the rule is in place the teams should not be allowed to break it. He also said that the rule shouldn't have come into place in the first place.
