I read some weeks ago that the game had been put in for approval. I had forgotten about it. It too long enough to be approved.

While we're on the subject, Cartoon Network are showing the new series of the Clone Wars cartoon, which previously was only on the Sky Movies channel. It's still 'old' (i.e. Republic period) Star Wars and still after all a cartoon but IMO it's actually much better Star Wars than the three recent films were and actually better than it's own film, which now looks like it was made before they found their feet.

It seems that web developers have not listened to comments. Sites with slide shows just get ignored. I almost never get past the first page. It is bad design.

George Lucas officially announces Star Wars on Blu-ray in 2011

http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/14/geor ... ay-in-2011

Quote:
As rumored, all six Star Wars movies will be released together on Blu-ray in 2011 for the 35th anniversary of the release of A New Hope. George Lucas personally announced the set on stage at the Celebration V event, and showed off a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi that will be included (embedded after the break.) While the "highest picture and audio quality" and extensive special features are promised, what won't make it to Blu-ray are the original versions of the movies; Lucas told the New York Times that only the special editions will be included, since restoring the original versions in high enough quality would cost too much. No word on price, release date or any plans to release the films individually, but if you can stand living in a world where Greedo shot first then this will certainly be on next year's shopping list.

Booooo! Bring back the originals, some of the re-mastered editions are terrible, such as the ones with a feckin' CGI Jabba (DVD box set, A New Hope)! What's that about!?

EDIT: And replacing the original dead Anakin with the new (young) one...WTF!

Maybe I'm missing something drastically obvious here, but wouldn't the 35th anniversary by 2012? I mean, didn't ANH come out in '77??
