I won't be doing this wedding video in HD, as there's no point. The couple have asked for a DVD.

Surely recording it in HD means you may throw some data away, but you've got the option of doing so? I know nothing about video, really, but my thinking is that using 10mp on a still camera for an 8x10" means that you can take a hefty crop if need be and still print at 300dpi.

Thats my thinking. I'm doing my video clips in HD but I'll do a DVD version for the parents too.

Well, we'll see.
Taking it in HD means adding more post work, more storage needed, more scratch space on HDs.
As much as I'd love a Mac Pro to cut it on, I'm stuck with the G4.
And seeing as one of the cameras is barely going to be SD...
