If we work out when it is (see new poll thread) then accomadation is easy (ish). Travelodge are doing rooms for under £25 in June/July time as long as you book up online.

How the DEVIL did I miss this thread?!
Meetup sounds cool, but i've got a bastard-busy time over the June/July area including singing in a Requiem at Leeds Grand Theatre and road-tripping to France.
But in the event that I can make the dates (And here's where I throw a spanner into the works) I can get a couple of people down to Londres for free. I work for National Express see =)

So no-one is up for the. all camp in a community hall, and draw on peoples faces when they're sleeping? Bring a biff eff off tele and rockband/guitar hero.
So much fun than. Oh night! See you tommorow! AND paying 25 quid a night. hahaha

I suspect that most of us are rather too old for the whole sleeping bags/community hall thing. I know I am!

We do this on another forums I'm on. Uncle ray is 68, and he brings a sleeping bag and an inflateable matress. You lot are amateurs.

You're only a year or two older than me. If I'm not too old to dress up as a Power Ranger and run around a camp site with a great big water pistol, play DDR and sit round a camp fire in sleeping bags drinking pop all night... Of course, the children are terrified of me and I'm not allowed in certain towns any more...

Personally a pub crawl and a meal then a night in the travel lodge don't appeal to me.
If were going to do it. Lets bloody do it properly!

Reminds me of a song... Can't find it on boobtube So anyway, what are we gonna do??? Pub crawls can be insanely expensive. I'll have a budget of about £20 - £40 after travel which won't even buy a round...

I wouldn't be going to get drunk anyway, so a pub crawl would be out for me.

And me, I think a pub isn't out of the question, but maybe just for some food and drinks?

Sounds reasonable enough, as long as it's a quiet pub... the old boys getting on a bit and his hearing isn't what it used to be. Apparently.
