A homeless man who became an expert at faking illness so he could stay in hospital has been given a criminal Asbo.

Counter-fraud experts say the fraud has cost the NHS tens of thousands of pounds.

Christopher Dearlove, 41, used more than 70 aliases to trick NHS staff into admitting him to hospital.

Surely the only reason he got into hospital before was because several people thought he was genuinely ill? What has the judge 'put in place' that is actually any different than what happened before?

Rather than giving an ASBO perhaps arrange an assessment with a Clinical Psychologist, some housing and help into getting trained for work?
