Can someone turn the Sun down please? I'm roasting in 26C here.

I think I need to move to Sweden! The temperature is making for an interesting situation, I think it's too hot, the Italian other half describes the weather as "warm", although she says it's too humid (I'm assured that although it'd be hotter in Italy, because it's "drier" I'd enjoy it more).

Agreed.

I'm okay with temperature; it's bloody humidity that's killing me. That and neighbours having parties so I can't have my windows open.

God bless the inventor of the propeller.

Car washing with cold water is a brilliant cure, if you get too hot just use the hose on your wrists, did mine yesterday afternoon and it was nicer than sitting about

And today got a really nice breeze helping to keep it cool

Works better when someone else is cleaning your car and you are enjoying a nice cold drink... but you can't have everything lol

Only 26? It's in the 30's here. God only know how hot it is when you're not in the shade. Not even a breeze or a few clouds to keep it cool.

I was just about to whinge in my blog about the oppressive heat. I can't bare it

I've been trying to garden. I last about 5 minutes before needing a cold shower to cool off again.

Huh? There are no bears in my garden.

I can't bare it all because I may be arrested, and I can't beer it at all because the fridge is empty :(

I have the additional problem that the Lodger has just bought me a number of bottles of Badger's Golden Champion, which I've been hankering for for the last few weeks, but because of the diazepam I cannot touch it.

Tis a nice heat, I don't care how cold it is as long as I have a nice cold glass of water.

Wasn’t too bad. Went to a pub, sat in the garden and drank cold Guinness. :D

It's nearly 30C in my room now, and that's with the window open.

Roll on winter...

It's very warm but not too hot.

Humidity is what makes it worse. I've been to the Caribbean during the summer, where the temps were hitting 40+ Centigrade daily. When there was very little humidity, it was fine. But after say a heavy rainfall, it was almost unbearably muggy.
