I love homemade mackerel pate. Very easy to make and very tasty! Made my first soup and the weekend - butternut squash with paprika. I loved it but boyfriend wasn't so keen. he likes butternut squash but not a soup made form it

I've just had a beef and chillie pizza from Zafads. I asked then to put chillie paste instead of tomato paste at the bottom, but I don't think he fully understood me, as I got tomato but it was still delicious. Washed it down with a can of Rubicon.

What is Rubicon? I've been wondering why they've been sponsoring Sky's coverage of the World Twenty20 when you can't get it over here, but if you bought it, it seems you can!

I think it was Mango, but I'd have to double check. You can get it in most takeaways, (in Manchester at least) and I'm sure I saw it at the local Asda.

Rubicon is a mango juice drink, that particularly in this weather, is very good chilled. Actually.... Rubicon is a drinks company that makes exotic fruit juice drinks, although mango is their best known one...

Very nice. I prefer marinades with a bit of sour in them as well though, would that work with a bit of lemon or lime juice in it do you think?

Yeah I think that would go down rather well. The sugar added a nice twist

Bread sliced (wholemeal granary are excellent) Fish Fingers Butter or marg Tomato Ketchup Peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
toast the bread and grill the fish fingers. When both are ready butter the toast, put peanut butter on one slice of toast. then add two fish fingers. add ketchup to taste and cover with second slice of toast. Garnish with more ketchup if required. Eat, absolutely yummy.

How about toast and peanut butter with banana. Odd combination but very tasty. <hunger pangs>.
