Tore my ACL yesterday. Some geezer decided to ride into me because I was in 1st and his brother was chasing me for 2nd. The cheating barsteward.

Needless to say, I twisted my knee 180 degrees round on itself and it just flopped out from under me. Felt it pop too. Been in hospital almost all of last night, and am awaiting surgery when the swelling goes down.

But feck me, I've never felt pain like it.

Quick post from me:

Do you know how torn it is? Are the medials stretched a lot? I presume it'll be an arthroscopic job to get it fixed, which should mean you'll be back on the bike fairly fast in the grand scheme of things, at least.

Knees hurt; hope it's fixed quick.

From sh1t licker to sh1t kicker FTW! :D

I have no idea in all honestly, I just hope his promotion comes up with levelling up points.

I really have been playing far too much DAO....

You're a lit closer than you actually realise there!!

It's not quite a promotion of EPIC proportions seeing as I work for McDonalds but, I've gone from a bog standard crew member to crew trainer, which is nice. Plus also have the oppourtunity to go back and begin management training after I finish Uni if I choose to work for them after.

I admit to luck rather than judgement. :D

Well, a promotion's a promotion. Good news in any case mate especially in the current climate. :D
