Since forever. It works on pretty much all media players. Pause is the main control you might want to hit in a hurry, so it's the big obvious key you can't miss. It's common sense... What gets my goat is that it worked on Windows Media Player up to version 7, when for absolutely no reason they changed it to ctrl-P. Why would they do that? It makes no sense at all! WMP6 was a great minimalistic player that just worked... now look at it; it's totally FUBAR I often use my big toe to pause videos when I'm trying to read over-crowded subtitles. Have you ever tried doing ctrl-P with your big toe??

I'd completely forgotten Meat Loaf had a new album out; I'm road testing it on Spotify, it's slightly different to what you might be used to

why do people say "fill-um"? for saying the word "film"? can they not speak proper english? the word doesnt have a u in it and should be just be said like "film" all in one but ive noticed many say fillum or fill um WTF? its highly irritating too, when I hear people say fillum I want to grab a greasy trout and smash it across their face repeatedly until I tire

It's called dialect. It's the way folk speak when they have a local accent. I wouldn't fret about it if I were you. I quite like the fact we all have different modes of speech.

Spooky, mine is also from 2003, although my account was created back in July 1996, when it was first released, a year or so before Microsoft bought them out.
