here’s the thing, when he took over I really hoped he would be better than the grinning loon who preceded him. And then we got floods. And foot and mouth. And a few other things.

And the the economy fell apart. He just seems to be incapable of communicating with us. He may be doing things behind the scenes to fix the mess, and you never know, it might be working. The problem is that he is so inept at communicating. He tries, but it just seems that he doesn’t care. He is just too awkward.

Now, crank the clock back 25+ years, and I’ll remind you that the Labour Party leader Michael Foot, brilliant wordsmith and orator, was humiliatingly awful in front of cameras for the Labour party. Remember when his teeth fell out during a speech? I suspect that Gordon Brown falls into this category. He doesn’t care much about appearance or image. A big mistake in a time when these two attributes are more important than they were when Foot was in charge.

I have had it with Brown. He’s embarrassing to watch, and he really makes me cringe at times. I really wish he wouldn’t roll his tongue around in his mouth too.
