I'd really like to go but as mentioned before I'm concerned that my tinnitus will go completely OTT.

It'd be a definite concern with that band... There's a Lemmy doc out soon IIRC :D

I remember my first Motorhead gig, it only took 3 days for my hearing to come back :D

I got pissed with Lemmy once. Well, more pissed. I was already very pissed as it was. Free Jamesons and Coke all evening, y'see.

I don't get your obsession with your rosy cheeked friends. It's often regarded as a healthy thing, although I'm guessing it's brought on by your usual weather at that end of the nation.

But, I'm guessing a lot of the year, it's pretty windy, a bit nippy, and I'm also guessing your mate doesn't spend all day in doors afraid to go outside?

OK, so it's not the weather... I'm gonna guess that being friends with bratty drives them to drink! ;) :etc:

Seems to have done the job! Long live Edd's Shures! At what point do they no longer become earphones, and are simply referred to as electrical tape?

It seems last night's optimism was a bit premature. I guess I'll have to dig out the earphone threads, and look at replacing them :( Yet another expense! I'll probably get a similar pair of shures though, as I liked these and they seemed to offer good sound for the money.

The rain has nothing to do with it!I've either A) not used enough tape or B) just had them too long. Going to have to replace them rather quickly, I think, as it'll annoy me not having them!

If I ever meet Finlay I'm going to be so disapointed if he doesn't look like Hugh Laurie.

My dear little Edd, the rain has everything to do with it.
I'm sure the penny'll drop sooner or later.
