well thats £500 down the drain ;) the tamron small lens I did buy is struggling to take pictures and focus aswell, It started doing it in Paris but now its got to the point where its unusable unless I keep turning the camera on and off repeatedly which is very very frustrating, I dont have the original box or a paper receipt only an email one, What must I do to get a replacement for free?

You dont need a paper receipt IIRC. You can prove the purchase in other ways (bank statement, etc).

Is it due to the lens or the Camera though?

Do you know anyone with another camera you could try it on?

I don't think so. It just wouldn't easily fit without the use of a Yorkshire screwdriver. Was it new or second hand? Have you contacted the company that sold it to you?

May be worth doing if you're up that way, but it does seem to be a lens problem, doesn't it?

I don't think a Canon mount would even fit on a Nikon camera. That's why adapter rings are necessary.

I believe John already has a 70-300.

Also from earlier in this thread.

Next time you want to bin a lens can I offer to pay for postage to myself?

Thanks in advance. :)

So you found it then?

Is it full frame or DX?
If it's full frame I might like it.
