Hi,
The PC Pro forums are now up and running again. It may take a while for the cache to clear, so please don't be too alarmed if you see error messages for the next hour or so.
Feel free to report any problems here or to me directly, and I'll do my best to get them sorted.
Thanks for your patience.

You can access the old 'Custom PC' forums via Mac User. Odd. http://www.macuser.co.uk/forum/viewforu ... 8b3ff1b5a9Its in the context menu, plus lots of other things like the IT Pro forum.

i posted this in the "judgement day" thread, but since you asked... guys, i cant log in through either pcpro or macuser. it comes up with an error about "message_die()" in "page_tail.php" is this an error, or is this what happens when you are a bad boy and get banned? message_die sounds a bit sinister heres the exact mesage: any ideas?

CPC has been moved to Bit-Tech, id imagine the CPC-only forums, such as the help forum, have been purged, or atleast hidden very deep

Tried to log in, said password was incorrect, tried to register, said username wasn't available, tried again, got blanked, gave up. Won't be trying again...

Thanks for the heads up Barry. I tried the PC Pro Meeting place and it seems to be working. I only popped in to say hello goodbye, as I really like it here and after the recent car crash over at the old place am not really interested in going back. Still...

I can log in. Bare in mind though, I did very little spamming. Still, did you really want to go back there?

if your getting the same error message as me, youve probably been banned as well ^^ and no, i wouldnt. unless it was for spamming purposes. but that would end with a ban anyway so ive lost nothing

It's so slow. And I have to keep on logging in.
How is this an improvement?

I submitted a post, though when I added a smiley it threw a hissy fit.
