I follow some channels that have been demonitised and cannot understand for the life of me why.

Must be. One reckons YouTube uses the captions software to check videos for mentions of the virus.

I'm now officially old enough to have put a massive crack in my toenail and have no idea how I did it.

Also old enough to enjoy getting a pair of trainers for 'just' £30... I'm assuming all the prices have gone up because dumb-ass joggers. They need bloody shot.

These should be everywhere, RM could make a fortune off ease of use. It would help cut the nonsense out of Amazon trying to sell returns, and help put the worst couriers in the ground where they belong.

Everything Corona...

We've all seen the projection numbers and yet my workplace has idiots who aren't social distancing, quite apart from then just walking into rooms and using 'someone else's' computer or whatever. So I'm going to need a word with my boss, again, after she wasn't very supportive of me putting a sign up on my door saying no unauthorised access (lock's broke, and now nobody to fix it of course). And that wasn't even to do with dear old Covid 19...

I hate going to all the effort to keep myself right and knowing it could all be undone by the morons around me.

On other sites random people are getting the scarce work from home laptops and others aren't. It's basically coming down to who complains the loudest initially, then 'sorry, you're out of luck' after that. However with the help of the NI executive (for once), I could absolutely justify arguing my case at least. So I'll see what way the wind's blowing. Sure as hell not about to risk death for my outfit

And I must look into the theory that you can make sanitiser from meths and aloe vera... purely out of curiosity, of course. I wouldn't trust myself

I've had so many double vodkas that Greg Wallace sounds like someone I should listen to.

Why can't I leave scabs alone? Just as they're almost healed I get the daftest urge to undo all the good work...

One for the Star Trek fans, but in a sad way.
I discovered today that the owner/admin of the Daystrom Institute Technical Library (DITL) website Graham Kennedy died of cancer on the 4th of May at the age of 50.
As a Trek fan I enjoyed the site content a lot and now it’s creator has passed away.
Don’t know if it’s a side effect of the weirdness of the lockdown but the news seems to have hit me harder than I would expect for someone I never knew and never met.

In any case, I you like Star Trek and hadn’t heard of the site before (Or even if you had) might be worth taking a look in case it disappears into the ether in the near future. The trivia quiz is always good fun even if I don’t think I’d ever scored more than 20.

I had no idea that site existed. When I watched TNG on Netflix a few years ago, I'd read up on memory-alpha after each episode. I've explored the site a little and really hope it continues to be maintained.
