Morning all,

And so another week begins. Did some forum searching last night, (the Dennis forums) in order to find out how long I've had my current PC. Is it sad that I use the Internet, (and more specifically forums, though I do have emails stored from a lot further back in time than that stored online) to keep track of my life?

The PC is 8 years old, by the way... and still kicks ass!

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Is it sad? Well I do the same, so no. It's just the modern way :D

Of course I've just had to check myself now. My PC was born 24/10/2007 so it's just a year younger than yours. Although the graphics was upgraded 24/01/10 and I've lost track of how many hard drives it's been through!

Morning world. Bit chilly out there by the looks, so I'm going to have a cup of tea and a cuddle with my feline hot water bottle for a while before I start work.

Morning all. It's a lovely crisp autumnal morning here. Really nice. Shame I'm in the office really!

In the interest of sharing my work Macbook Pro that just died was born in June 2009. Long ago enough for me to warrant applying for a new one as they have a 3 year turn around here. Of course if it was my personal one I'd get the hard drive replaced and carry on using it.

Sorted out all my back ups at the weekend so I will have a work back up and a personal one when I get the new machine. I've put the important things like music and pictures on a portable hard drive so I can copy it across when the new one arrives  ;)

I sent the order over on Friday so it will be here any day now

:EXCITED!!:

Happy damn Monday all. Have a good day.

Good morning, campers. Hi-de-hi!

My MacBook Pro was born some time in 2007. It's still chuntering along, though it's beginning to creak a bit and run out of puff when asked to do simple things like open a browser.

The start of yet another week. I had an epiphany on Saturday. I realised the only thing I'm really good at is being a failure. Then Best Beloved reminded me I am actually rather good at some things, so I am not even capable of being a proper failure after all!

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all,

Very tiring weekend - all self inflicted - so, as per usual, I can pay via Bank Transfer or Paypal transaction for a few hours sleep, should anyone have any to spare.

Show it some love and buy it an SSD. ;)

Morning.

A mod's work is never done. Happily deleted posts from and banned a spammer just now.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all.

It's been all hands to the pumps, from the moment I walked in this morning.

I was rather hoping for an steady day, as I have a late night tonight - business dinner, that will no doubt last until the wee small hours.
