Just Coke straight out of the fridge, failing that, with ice 8-)

And a cold bottle in a pub is best, but the bottle's too small and too dear :(

Lemon in cola? WTF?

I like coke with milk in, kinda like you'd make tea but cold and fizzy. Full fat is best. You have to add the milk to the coke, not the other way around.

Failing that, no-ice. The ice they generally use just isn't cold enough, so it all melts and makes it dilute. The rough shape of the ice also seeds the bubbles, making it go flat quickly. By the time you're down to the last bit, it's just nasty.

I do add ice at home sometimes, but my ice is much colder and in larger lumps.

The ex, Baron Greenback, used to make that and called it "A Brown Cow" he used to love dipping cookies into it before eating them.

In a pint glass, about an inch.

You see, I like my Coke that much I'm worried about 'wasting' a pint of it

But I suspect curiosity will get the better of me one day ;)

I refuse ice in many pubs. My local one serves hollow ice, so when it melts, the volume of your drink actually decreases!

Peter.

If you're that worried about wasting a pint why not try it with half a pint, reducing the amount of milk accordingly, to... say... half an inch?

I find that drinking it has the same effect :P

I have absolutely no idea, but it's incredible to watch the level of drink slowly fall without touching it!

Peter.

I'm thinking the whole pint with an inch of milk would let it mix better? Somehow? Fcuk, I dunno

Not so fussed about the ice - if it's warm weather, some ice. If it's cold, preferably none.

Don't mind whether lemon or lime, since I like both. They give some alternative taste to coke.

I was one of the few people who liked Coca Cola with Lime. Didn't try the lemon.

I'd forgotten about those -the lemon was OK but I wouldn't have bought it, never tried the lime, quite liked the vanilla though :)
