Evening all.

I suppose it had to happen. After spending nigh on a year and a half being paranoid, wearing a mask to the shops, using enough sanitiser to sink a battleship, not going anywhere I shouldn't be going, (to visit family and friends, etc) of course I have tested positive for Covid. Bloody marvellous!

Luckily, I'm fully jabbed up, (AZ) and it doesn't feel any more serious than a heavy cold, but still... GAH!

Stay safe everybody.

Wow, I'm like this too. I got my second jab last Monday but it doesn't mean that you can't get it, you are just safer from the worst effects and less likely to get it, less likely to pass it on and less likely to be asymptomatic. Hopefully you've recovered just fine and yes, stay safe all.

It's my first day back in work, after two weeks off. Was rough but symptoms have now gone, and the government say I'm OK to go back to work, so there you go.

Morning all,

Hope you're staying safe, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

:)

Well, Best Beloved and I got hitched. It's only taken us 30 years, but it's official now.

I don't visit here very often nowadays. I don't sit at the pooter all day like I used to. My bad, really. I miss the banter.

Congratulations.

I tend not to visit here much. It's not as busy as it used to be. I've also discovered Reddit.

Fingers crossed there's no long COVID type complications. I've had quite a few patients affected by COVID who've suffered with health issues. Strangely, they're all in the 30-40 year old age range.

Afternoon all,

Haven't been around much, and it looks like I'm not the only one!

Hope you're all staying safe and keeping well.

Is it just the age of the software?

Next month I start a new job for the first time in 14 years. I will now be a senior devops engineer and just that will increase my salary by 50%. Well that and leaving a company that refused to pay me better until I handed my notice in.

Well, it doesn't look like it has been updated since I themed it.
I'm surprised it hasn't been hacked before now.

It's not quite your skin. That died at some point when I think you wrere in Oz. The current one is a wish.com style copy of yours with almost zero coding skill.

Having popped in yesterday I somehow managed to post without posting here first!

Finishing off the weekend with editing a podcast episode (The Infinite Escape Room, not that you asked ;) )
