Zoom has seen its popularity soar with teams working from home. This makes interesting reading...

If you really have to use it, install the mobile app which is at least sandboxed and doesn’t install a hidden web server!

Except the iOS version was sending all your information back to Facebook... Allegedly they removed that, after it turned into a [LIFTED] last week.

Then there is the fact that it doesn't do End-to-End encryption - the two "ends" it means are your device and their servers. Their privacy policy used to claim they passed on the contents of meetings to Google and Facebook for advertising. Funnily enough, after another [LIFTED] last week, they suddenly changed their privacy policy againa and claim they don't actually sell your meeting information to Google & Co.

Now the New York DA is starting an investigation into exactly how good their privacy and their "end-to-end" encryption really is.

Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, let slip in an interview on BBC Breakfast today that the Government use it, including Boris Johnson. Nice to see their I.T department are just as incompetent as those running the country!
