I received the new St. Mary's novel, which seems good so far. And I bought Swallows and Amazons for my wife to read yesterday (well, I'll read it as well).

I have that series as audio books on Audible, in German. Excellent series.

I really enjoy his work - currently awaiting the next book part of a series in a "new universe"

Jack Reacher: Past Tense
Two separate plot lines that merge together at the end. Plot twists are obvious. There isn't as much Reacher action as I wanted. I did enjoy it more than Personal.

Have started reading this twice now and given up. One more chance, perhaps.

I have just finished reading Peter Pan: A Prequel. Very good. I have written a review on Kobo.

Here's a link: KoBo Link

Halfway through Leviathan Wakes - I plan to read most/all of the Expanse books prior to season four beginning in December

Been reading the IDW Transformers comics, absolutely awesome.

It would just be nice if my comics app understood sequential numbering

And it's now available on Amazon, but be quick, as I was speaking to the author yesterday, and he is going to put the price up soon!

Retro Gaming by Mike Diver - a great little book, one of those mini hardbacks that gives a quick rundown of gaming history with lots of nostalgic photos of systems and their games. £5 in The Works. It would make for a great gift, actually.

Also picked up four DC Comics novels in a collection (Wonder Woman/Batman/Catwoman/Superman by 'megastar authors' I've never heard of) for £8, and Bruce Lee, A Life, by Matthew Polly, £4.

A little bit of shameless self-promotion for Monday morning.

If you haven't read Time Fixer - The Blake Bergman Chronicles yet, it's definitely worth a read!

Available on paperback and e-book for Kindle, Kobo and other formats, you can get the links from My Website

Just finished Cath O'Neal's Weapons of Math Destruction.

Great read about how algorithms are destroying our world.

The Sentinel - a Jack Reacher book by Lee Child and his brother.

Just unengaging. Probably the first Reached book where turning the pages felt a chore. On a kindle.

I've just finished the one before that, Blue Moon, and felt it was a bit of a return to form. Much more aggressive Reacher and a huge body count compared to recent books. Shame the latest doesn't seem up to much as I think the series has been floundering for the last ten years.
