https://www.essexlive.news/news/live-up ... ll-1637430And I was in town this morning, and certainly before the time in the article, there were a lot of blood drips trough the High Chelmer shopping centre. All the way though, from the Tindal Street entrance to the market. Big drips too - some three or four cm across, I reckon. Also, a lot of police - at least three cars in the high street and heading towards the town hall.
While I was having some tea, two ambulances and an air ambulance critical support car passed by to the downhill, which is where the video in the article linked to was shot. The trail of blood ran (literally) from there to Tindal Street, and, hooray, blood around where I had left my bike, so I had to check that it wasn’t affected. I also went and asked a nearby police officer if I could move it - they were doing crime scene swabbing in the shopping centre and I didn’t want to disturb anything. They said I could, so I came home.
So that was interesting.
