This is literally the best news in I don't know how long! Does anyone remember me posting on this forum, about a joystick which I had bought, specifically to play Kick Off and Kick Off 2, on my Amiga emulator?

I am trying, very hard, not to do a dance around the office!

:D

I do.

I was always fascinated by the joysticks they used to put out in the 90's - Terminator skulls etc. Totally unusable lol.

But anyway, enjoy the game when it hits :D

Didn't realise at the time, but it's a PS4 / PS Vita exclusive. Looks like I'll be buying a PS4 next year... Unless I can convince Dino to make a PC version.

By that time the system should be even cheaper, the price drops all the time now. Same with the games.

*BUMP*

The game has been out for a while, and since the patch has now been released, which adds a lot of new functionality and bug fixes, as well as a new referee called JOHN VELLA* it seems like a good time to remind you all that this game exists.

You can buy it online, at the Playstation store thing, as a download for £7.99 and if you've read some of the hateful "reviews" please ignore them, as I'm saying now, it's a great game, and you should buy it, assuming you have a PS4 :)

* That's not a random name, by the way. Yes, one of the referees is, in fact, named after me, as I have been a member of the KORmunity, (a fan based community) since day one, and have followed Dino on his Twitch channel, helping testing, etc, and he names some of the referees after community members. Yes, it is kind of a big deal, to me at least. :D

Big day for me... I've just won my first ever league game on the amazing Dino Dini's Kick Off Revival, on the PS4.

If you have a PS4 and £4.99 to spare, get to the Playstation store, or whatever it's called and buy it, while it's at the special sale price.

There have now been two patches released, and it really is a cracking game!

I think it's four patches in, now, and this game is getting better and better. If you have a PS4, buy it! :D

Hmmm me thinks he likes the game :D

No PS4 here and at the moment no plan to buy one - if I did I would probably get the newish Xbox as that has a 4K DVD drive in it so might as well future proof

If it was on Xbox I'd probably have a punt at 4.99 just for the nostalgia.

What gives you that idea? Is it the fact that I bought a PS4, (the first console I've bought for myself, ever, or the fact that I don't stop going on about how good I think it is?!

By the way, it's also been released for the Vita, and the current feedback indicates that it's just as good on the new platform.

Kick Off Revival celebrated it's first birthday over the weekend, and has improved again, since my last post.

I believe that Sociable Soccer, the reboot, (pun intended) of Sensible Soccer is coming out this year, and having played it, can say that this also looks good.

This thread now makes me sad, as the game has been de-published, due in part at least, to the drubbing it got from the hateful critics. :(
