Heard the new Bond theme the other day. I’ve not been going out of my way to hear it, especially since I’ve heard it’s not that good. After hearing it, to me it sounds like they got a castrato to sing it.

Dusting off the CV. Trying to keep it to 2 sides of A4, but frankly, it's a struggle.

Problem is, given the nature of my employment history, I've got lots of little jobs (my present being my longest period of employment at 4+ years). Trying to give a meaningful overview of my history and then covering gaps up with 'Freelance advertising and TV work too numerous to mention' is probably not ideal.

Do you have a skill set list at the top of your CV? That should be instead of giving detailed descriptions of previous jobs

Yeah, I've got a brief skills list at the top and a Greatest Hits going back over the last 10 years with specific jobs.

Codeine. Literally. I've hurt my foot, so it's that, some anti inflammatory gel and ice packs as recommended by the GP I saw yesterday. So far, so good. I can walk more normally without it hurting, so hopefully it will continue to improve. It's the fuzzy feeling the pain killers give my mind that's upsetting. I don't like it, and just to add to the fun, I've been asked to think about some complex stuff as part of an incoming job.

I'm knackered. Just finished my night shift, but I've got to stay up to pick our car up from the garage. It's had a have a new brake calliper after the old one locked on and caused some to billow from the passenger side rear wheel.
