"Heroes are not born, they are created." The first trailer for the Michael Bay produced, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is here!!

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/66703

I was surprised at how well that Mikey scene worked, but the rest of it looked dire. Those 'soldiers' just look annoying already, as does Fox as usual, and they're clearly intent on messing with all of the established origins across the canon.

Didn't know that there had already been a hercules film this year but the rock's version looks a little better. I still prefer kevin sorbo as hercules.

Re: tmnt - looks a bit crappy but still better than that animated 3D one that came out around 2006/7.

Apparently that first Hercules film's a joke.

I didn't mind the animated film, but then I'd played the games before I saw it.

Frozen becomes biggest animation in box office history

Quote:
Disney animation Frozen has become the top-grossing animated film in box office history.

The musical film has now made $1.072bn (£644.38m) globally, beating Toy Story 3's previous record of $1.063bn in 2010, according to Boxofficemojo.com.

The movie, which stayed in the top 10 in the US and Canada film chart for more than three months, is now also the 10th biggest grossing film in box office history. Frozen scooped two Oscars earlier this year, winning the awards for best animated feature and best original song.

TOP 10 ANIMATION FILMS OF ALL TIME

1. Frozen - $1.072bn (Disney)

2. Toy Story 3 - $1,063.2m (Disney)

3. The Lion King - $987.5m (Disney)

4. Despicable Me 2 - $970.8m (Universal)

5. Finding Nemo - $936.7m (Pixar)

6. Shrek 2 - $919.8m (Dreamworks)

7. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - $886.7m (Fox)

8. Ice Age: Continental Drift - $877.2m (Fox)

9. Shrek the Third - $799m (Dreamworks)

10. Shrek Forever After - $752.6m (Dreamworks)

Haven't seen Frozen, but I haven't really been impressed by the Shrek/Ice Age sequels.

More from the BBC here.

I've only ever caught chunks of most of that list (nephew's DVD collection), to the extent I wound up with no real desire to watch them :|

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Sabotage disappoints at US box office

http://www.totalfilm.com/news/arnold-sc ... box-office

There's all sorts of reasons for that. They're old skool shows for a kick-off, Arnie's previous audience quite possibly isn't at the cinema any more, and the films get very little promotion in comparison to everything else! Also, Sabotage just looks like Training Day with more pew pew :|

Which TMNT? One's a cartoon and the other's a... Michael Bay film ;)

No, what I meant was films that rely on CGI over everything else.
