I find the idea of banning flavoured tobacco just plain daft.
It's a bit like banning all whiskies except the heavily peated ones as you hope the flavour will put people off from drinking whisky (alcohol) at all.
A) It's not going to work, and B) it's unneccesserily restricting people's freedom to choose.

I think that the authorities are more concerned about attracting kids, and flavoured tobacco would do a pretty good job.

They could try and do something about stopping kids getting hold of cigs in the first place, whether there is flavours added or not, kids will still smoke. Most underaged users do not smoke flavoured tobacco of any sort as it tends to be either expensive or pipe tobacco. They tend to go for the cheap brands.

They are already pretty tough on tobacco sales to kids. I do not see what more they can do to enforce it? It would cost money and councils are trying to avoid the expense of court cases.

tough on tobacco sales to kids.. your having a giraffe!!! Once in a blue moon a council runs a sting operation does not count as being tough. As for the cost of a court case, its an open and shut case and costs are reclaimable against the retailer plus the fine. Its a win win for the council.

Flavoured baccy is too expensive, even when I started smoking 10 flavored cigs cost as much as 20 king size, and quantity over quality every time. How many teens do you see drinking a quality Riesling over a gallon of white lightning?

Kids will buy cheap and buy a lot, and I agree stings are too soft and infrequent, out old house was near a corner shop and the kids used to drink in the alley then smash the empties making it impassable

That is an enforcement problem. That is a different matter from the law.

Ok, I've finished the prototype of my first box mod. and will upload the pictures when I get a minute. And after I actually take some pictures! McGyver would be proud! This one is a dual 18650 mod and it goes up to 5.9 volts and I adapted the circuit I found on another forum slightly so the voltage display only comes on when you press the vape button. Pictures to follow...

No, just voltage on this one. I am planning my second mod now, mainly because the wife doesn't like how big this one is, so I'll see if I can get the resistance meter in there. Having said that, I'm also thinking about a little dual 18650 fixed voltage mod, so maybe that one will be MK III lol

Got a bit bored of the same flavour and so ordered a few different brands/flavours (and some slightly lower nicotine level items) from fasttech as well as a case, a t3s knockoff (unbranded but 1/2 the price) and some replacement coil heads (again a lot cheaper)

Will find out how well spent my £15 was in a couple of weeks

I think after this I might look at mixing my own juice as it seems a lot cheaper in the long run once the initial outlay is done

Also seem to have a few off hits from the T3s so will look at cleaning it when the new stuff arrives as it might be the juice but I dont get much taste (but havent got much to compare it to)

I mix my own and it's not too bad price wise but it's a learning curve at first, with the price of Liqua at fasttech it's very close in terms of price.

Flavour is subjective of course but you'll notice the flavour drop off if your coil gets gunked up (as well in a reduction in cloud size) or if you're undervolting. If you get metallic tastes then you're heating faster than you can feed the liquid so need to reduce the voltage.

Fixed voltage via PWM or literally 2 batteries wired to the atty?

Still looking at the options but since I wrote that post someone put me onto another step down board so a little more reading is in order before I get the soldering iron out.

Well I already have about 40ml left of Liqua cola so definitely don't need any more of that, went for 4 x 10ml bottles to try

Liqua berry
Liqua cherry
Hangsen mango
Hangsen red bull

The hangsen ones were lower nicotine levels and work out about £1.30 for 10ml which is pretty good, and if it's rubbish it's only a little amount

Liqua's Energy Drink is quite good. Hangsen can be fairly low on the flavour front but it's reliable.

Be careful about dropping nic levels too quickly though as you end up chain vaping to keep the nic content up.
