1. Delete all GTAV game data.
2. Clear system cache three times.
3. Delete marketplace data from storage system items.
4. Unplug console for three minutes.
5. Install disc 1.
6. Power off, do not insert disc 2.
7. Restart.
8. Install disc 2.
9. Play.

That is a lot of work to get a console game working.

Opening the store section of Grand Theft Auto 5 in the pause menu reportedly results in the console requesting an XML file hosted on Rockstar's site, which makes mention of a number of in-game "cash cards" available in denominations ranging from $100,000 to $1,250,000.

Will you be able to buy these at the ratio 1:1?

Apparently I heard on the radio that the cars do not retain the custom changes made in garages.

It's got all sorts of bugs, problems with the garages go right back to the PS2.

In that case, glad I haven't gotten as far as modding cars.

Much excitement amongst my Crossfire owning friends. The Shyster Fusilade is based on it.

The problem with customising cars happens if you take the car from a different character and try and save it into your garage.

Ie take Trevor's truck and drive it into Michael's garage.

Played a few missions. Am happy with the shooting stuff. Maybe it's from playing CoD but I've got no issues with shooting people. The driving is horrendous and is one of the things that drove me away from GTA:4. Crap car control. Crap obstacles. Somehow if you have a collision, you will always come off worse irrespective of whose fault/speed/direction etc. Still nowhere near as fun as GTA:VC or SA but better than 4 so far.

Did you get sorted with the driving? I'm gonna be off work for weeks so I'm very tempted to buy it now

Yeah it's a lot easier. I've also changed the aiming/firing controls so they mirror CoD which makes it easier to shoot people.

With GTA:4, I never really got to grips with the steering whereas with GTA:V, it's just a lot easier (once you get used to it).

I never finished the add-on disc for 4, so I think I'm gonna give it another shot before buying 5.
