I was gonna post her up after seeing her on QI last night but she just doesn't appeal to me. There's only one photo in google images where she looks okay.

Yes but this is the NSFW thread. I debated whether to post this because of her age. Though she is very pretty and I suspect she will replace Kristen "Trampire" Stewart in film roles in only a few more years.

NSFW implies many things, but I have to agree with cloaked_wolf on this. I’d like a moderator to pass their beady eyes over this. Just to be sure.

Here's my opinion, for what it's worth: What's the problem with posting a perfectly innocent image of a 14 year old actress? Firstly, having chosen to be an actress, I believe it's a given that she knows her picture is going to appear on various Internet sites. Secondly, it's not as if this image is being used in an inappropriate manner. This is, after all, a forum thread all about redheads and she is a ginger, so again... what's the problem? Were any inappropriate comments to appear regarding this image I would say that the image, (and the person responsible for said comments) be removed from the forum but for now, and again... what's the problem?

I'm working on the theory that I if say something enough times it will turn into a catchphrase...

There is no problem, aside from some sailing very close to breaking the forum rules and overt references to self-pleasuring.

Rule Number 4: Links. Any postings or links to voyeuristic, sexually explicit or nude/semi nude pictures of children are strictly forbidden.

Is this really any of the above? I actually had to look up the rude word in the previous post, as I didn't know what it means

Since this picture was taken at a public event I still think it should be OK, but maybe a quick edit to change the offensive word and perhaps a PM to the person responsible would be in order.

If it were in any other thread eg movies and trailers or random sh!t, I wouldn't care. It's because it was posted in a thread about hot redheads (ie people you'd "fancy") that concerns me.

And then claim it's an innocent photo. By definition the fact you said that means you thought in some sense it was voyeuristic and/or sexual or at least that some other people might think so and that made it, IMO, an inappropriate image to post. It's not up to me of course, but that's my opinion.

I think both CW and Jon have nailed the reasons for concern. It’s all about context. A quick skim through this thread and reading some of the comments does make me feel that it would be very inappropriate to post a picture of a minor.

If I had not mentioned that she was 14 would anyone actually know? In that photo she does not look her age. The image was found on Google Images with safe search.

I certainly do not fancy her. She was simply very pretty and redhead.

No but I would have googled her, found out who she was incl. age. Perhaps we should have a rule that no pics of minors should be posted in any NSFW thread?
