Lol. I reckon if I'd got into shaving before detailing, I might've been in the same situation.

So, having not bothered shaving for a week or two now, I've decided to grow a handlebar moustache. A little off topic I know, but after 13 pages what did you expect.

Not sure if anyone on here has ever had one/still has one, but tips would be welcomed!

I've currently still got the beard and have just trimmed around the tips of the moustache to emphasise it, I purchased some normal wax today to push it outwards until the edges get full enough to start curving!

There's nothing much to see yet James, but I have got some shots of it so far, so I will post pics as I go.

Cheers JJ, am over there looking at others to get an idea of a style I might like, at the moment it's just a case of letting it grow; got myself some wax and managed to find my old beard/moustache comb at the weekend. Strangely enough I also have the support of Miss Blue which helps!

It is Rob, but as I usually have some stubble all year round, growing a 'stash in Movember wouldn't have been a big venture.

Having a curly mo during Movember on the other hand, that'd be something ;)

I've been using a men-u shaving brush. Because it's synthetic, I've never been able to face-lather with it and hence have used a large latte mug thing (a la Mantic59) and just "paint" the lather on to my face.

Today, I decided to face lather again. It worked. The brush is more amenable to splaying out and generating lather. Consequently I had a much better shave.

They are on their way this evening! My moustache wax from Oregon arrived over the weekend so I'll go home and have a trim up this evening and then post the results :)

You need a silver handled walking cane to go with that moustache Sir!

Thank you good sirs!

I'm still undecided on it to be honest, it's very odd not having a beard, which I have done for several years with one length or another. At the moment it's keeping people entertained so I'll keep it going.

Will continue to post photos as I play around with styles to keep you all amused.

I just can't grow a bread. After a few weeks growth I can just "feel" it all the time, and it's bloody irritating.
