That does seem a tad high, what volts you putting through it?

default, CPU-Z and Abit uGuru both say around 1.19v

im just about to run IntelBurnTest @ 3.2GHz, so far no voltage increases have been required :)

Better than my chip! But those idle temps still seem high :? Cooler is on properly yeah?

Guys, this thread is for pictures of rigs only, not for discussions about problems.
I'm culling posts soon.

That's actually a list of the cooling gear in there, WCUK wouldn't save my basket, so I had to right it down so I could remember what I was buying, of, and Boothy, it's on the left ;)

I got a pile of new bits.
Image

I took them out of the boxes and admired them.
Image

I put the power supply, motherboard, and processor into the cheapest case money can buy.
Image

I installed the cooler the wrong way round.
Image

I installed the graphics card and connected all the wires.
Image

It lives!
Image

I overclock everything and start dual-booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04.

I'm getting round to it, but I keep pulling the thing apart to put in new fans and play about with the setup, so everything gets a bit messy again. I've currently taken out the graphics card (motherboard's GMA X3100 to the rescue in the mean time) to replace the world's noisiest fan (possible exaggeration) with a massive heatsink.

Next priority will have to be a better case. This one cost under £13, it can just about cope with keeping the components off the carpet...
