I have two network ports on my motherboard and i want to use one of them to hitch another computer up to in a daisy chain fashion. I am aware this can be done, but have no idea how and a quick ferret in the network settings doesn't yield anything. Running Vista Business. |

If it is a direct connection, you need a cross-over cable, although more modern chipsets should autodetect the type of cable. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... on-Sharing Although a cheap hub or switch would be an easier/more flexible solution. |

I've done something similar here at home, running an ethernet lead from a PC into my Mac to share the wifi connection. I'd imagine Vista does something similar to OS X, maybe, in that you'll need to enable internet sharing. I then told it to share my wifi connection to computers connected to my ethernet port. |
