Title says it all. The computer was working fine until last week. Now it hangs on the motherboard logo screen. It's a Gigabyte GA-somethingorother motherboard with C2D E8200. 3 GB RAM and 9600GSO graphics card. Housemates. Any ideas? |

I've been using 3GB (2x1GB, 2x512MB) on my work machine for 2 years without problems... |

Can you get into the BIOS ? It might just be dirt / thermal creep I would open it up give it a good spring clean and re-seat all the connectors esp the memory If that fails then unplug everything and just have CPU 1 memory slot HDD Run off Integrated Graphics if poss. Then slowly add components |
