Can anyone tell me why it is such a bloody flaff to change the font for stickies on Windows 10? On the mac you have the option for all the fonts but with Windows 10 you have to change the registry.

WTAF?

I didn't even know there were sticky notes in Windows. It was a "thing" back in 1992, I can't remember the name of the program that did it, but I haven't used them since. I didn't realise it had made it into the core of Windows in the meantime.

I use them a lot and the font was crappy so wanted to change it. The only 'fix' I found was to hack the registry and change the default segoe font to something that you like but even then it doesn't save that option for a new stickies so you have to copy and paste some text from another then type over it and it's really annoying and I want my mac back.

lol

[end rant]

On Windows 10, it seems to use Calibri or Arial.

Not on my stickies it wasn't. It was one of those horrible handwriting fonts

And more reasons I hate Win10

Doing a simple task of downloading text files from box, saving as word files then deleting originals.

When doing a save as word doc it saved it somewhere other than originals and it wasn't clear where (luckily I'm a proper brainbox and looked in the documents folder)
It saved 2 in docs then 2 in downloads

Went to move a couple of the files 'this can't be done file in use'

Then I wanted to delete them. The default file explorer takes you to recent documents. OK I'll delete them from there. Win10 says no your can't do that so I have to going to the containing folder.

Grrr lol [end rant]
