As the title suggests, I need some helping deciding on a NAS solution. At the moment, I have two network drives, (2TB and 3TB) both of which are almost full, and rather than just buying another drive would like to get something with 4 bays, and RAID as the files on the existing drives are not currently backed up.

I did see this NETGEAR RN10400-100EUS ReadyNAS 104 4 Bay Personal Cloud Network Attached Storage (Diskless), iTunes Server, Plex Server, DLNA Media Streaming and RAID on Amazon and it looks like it covers all bases, but wanted to see if anyone in the wonderful world of x404 has any suggestions before I start splashing the cash.

Speaking of cash, I'm looking at an upper limit of £500, including the drives, but, as with most things in life, this is negotiable. Up to a point.

Thanks in advance,

John.

The 104 is very good. If you don't mind 2nd hand, I've got one with hardly any use & 4x 3tb drives I'm getting rid of soon
