A Tribute

Now, VMWare say they're going to carry on supporting and developing it. However they've layed off pretty much every single person who currently has anything to do with developing or supporting it. I assume 'continued support' in this case means 'ship the source code off to India/China where someone will try to fix bugs in a radically complex low level piece of engineering for a pound a day'.

OS X doesn't run on Dells, so Dell don't need Fusion any more?

True enough. VM Workstation does though and they seem to have pretty much binned that too. They look to have decided to go pretty much entirely for the enterprise market in one way or another.
