Does anyone have a DVD or ISO file for a 'full' installer of Windows 8 Pro? I have a licence key but I can only seem to find 'update' installers at our place, which require a previous version of Windows to be installed on the PC. In this case I want to completely blank a PC and install Windows on it. I could install windows 7, patch it etc then do an upgrade to 8 on top but I assume it'll be quicker to do a straightforward Windows 8 install is such is available. I do have another box already on windows 8 (again, fully licensed) but I assume if I generate a 'recovery installer' from that it will try to install the drivers for the wrong hardware and things will fail miserably... Anyone? |
