Can't see any security settings that might be amiss... those suggest the issue of it not loading at all... have asked on Apple forum now though also!

Yeah, I noticed the update, but it still did it after I'd installed that!

I'll have to try Facebook when I get home, but I can't help but wonder why you're not just using Chrome... isn't it meant to be better than Safari?

It's just what I use, and it all syncs up over iCloud, so all bookmarks, settings, passwords, reading list etc are available on my iPhone and iPad and Mac at home. Very useful.

I just use Chrome when Safari doesn't like a site, which is rare.
