It is on my home machine now, but not on my SP3 - but that is in the domain.

For some reason the sys admin guys won't put their PCs in the company domain, which is why they got the notification...

So, anyone taken the plunge yet?

I'm holding off until I do a full backup of my current setup and in any case I didn't reserve a copy so I suspect I'll be at the back of the queue for the download anyway.

I'm having problems getting Windows 10.
I reserved it from Winodws 7 home on my laptop a while back. However I did a fresh install of Windows 7 ultimate two days ago on the same laptop.
Today I've looked and the Get Windows 10 icon is missing from the task bar.

Having looked at MS support pages, it suggests that I need to look for a new notification over the next month as they're spreading the updates out. I'm just worried something is wrong and I won't get it.

Tried the ISO, but it wouldn't accept my CD key.
Never mind

Turns out the fresh install was taking its sweet time activating. Now it has the upgrade icon has appeared and I can get windows 10.

The email I had from MS yesterday said it could take weeks for my turn

I really don't see why there's such a desperate rush tbh. You've got a whole year.
I'm planning on giving it at least a month. By then the servers will be less busy and any major issues will have been spotted by the eager beaver early adopters. Plus the driver support will have improved a bit as well.

Mind you, I'm going up to my parents next week. I hope my Dad doesn't try to upgrade while I'm there. Something's bound to go horribly wrong if he does and it'll somehow be my fault.

I have a 4.1GB directory with the install image in it, but the "Download Windows 10" icon in the tray says I will be informed when it is ready to be installed...
