It's quite impressive that the retail version of Snow Leopard includes iLife and iWork.

That's the Box Set version. The standard OS disc-in-a-box doesn't include iLife or iWork, sadly. http://www.apple.com/uk/macosx/specs.html(scroll down to "What's in the box")

Some people have phoned O2 and are getting mixed messages. It seems that O2 are currently in meetings discussing whether they will allow current iPhone 3G users to upgrade early Peter.

With the amount of bad PR they are getting over it, something needs doing. If not I may skip this one. If they do, I will be very impressed with the public's ability to make such a big corporation listen to us. I have no idea on this but could it be that it's because Apple fans are more vocal?

My current contract will last until... err... May 2010 with my Sony Ericsson C905 on Orange. But, I'm using my Dad's iPhone that my little bro jailbroke so it will work. I do miss the data when I'm out and about but it's fine for using it with wifi at home and at free hotspots. I think I'll wait for the 4th gen iPhone before upgrading though. ATM I have a £25 a month contract and if I pay it off to keep my same number it'll cost me nearly £450 (because they won't give me the discount I currently get) and then I'll have to pay almost £300 for the iPhone and then sign another £35 a month contract. Too much money for me. It'll be nice to look at though

I have drunk the Kool-Aid
Having watched the Keynote I am well impressed. Despite the two failed demo's I am well up for my first iPhone. I wonder what a 32Gig 3GS will cost me?

iPhone 3G S 32GB - £538.30 on Pay and Go (Calls extra) Or £274.23 plus 18 payments of £29.38 (£528.84) = 803.16 (75 mins per month) This works out at 29p per minute IF you use all of your minutes. I don't know what Pay and Go minutes normally cost? CC

For low users it looks like Pay and Go is by far the best option then.

Yup, CC. I was just contemplating moving from O2's PAYG to the £10pcm contract, but obviously that's not an iPhone-able option. Rather torn.

That's the first time I have ever contemplated a PAYG phone.
When my current contract is up I will seriously think about going onto PAYG for the next iPhone. (Still got about 12 months left so will wait for next iPhone).

Tariffs could be very different in 12 months time.

I am thrilled up by the keynote. I was very very impressed both by the new MBP and the 3GS. I want both. Even though in truth I need neither.

OK, but more importantly....
What’s the plural of iPhone 3G-S?
What‘s the possessive?
And you thought the name “Blackberry” was a problem.
