Well...?

If you could, what part would you do and how would you redesign it?

I'd probably do feet. Toes, are far too fragile and open to being completely obliterated by the bottoms of cupboards and stray things lying on the floor. And if they don't get caught by that then they are too cramped together and athlete's foot sets in.

I don't know how I'd redesign them, maybe keep the independent movement of the toes but have skin over all 5 of them (a bit like a sock).

This would provide support from the others if one got damaged...

or something...

Anyway.

Toes are actually quite important for balance, so you'd still need something like them to maintain the humanoid erect posture and walking/running.

The spine needs some rethinking. We didn't evolve originally to be fully upright at all times, and the back turns out to be a bit of a weak point if your posture or weight distribution is poor. (Something I know all about, sadly.)

Otherwise, Mother Nature's done a none too shabby job with homo sapiens, I reckon.

Really? Our arms are too short to walk on all fours (well at least mine are) like apes. I think the human body evolved appropriately up until civilisation exploded. We weren't designed to sit on chairs all day long - so poor posture will develop as a result. We weren't designed to retain so much fat, otherwise we would have already evolved better methods of storage. Though maybe 'pear-shaped' fat people would have lived longer than 'apple-shaped' fat people, thereby improving weight distribution of Man.

I'm not sure, but I think some gills would be handy. With all the fat people carry these days, we'll be back in the sea in no time.

I think I would redesign my hair...It was really curly at one point, and I didn't mind that, but I wanted it perfectly straight...I tried chemically straightening it back in October and now it's just kind of a frizzy mess :( I'd like to redesign it so I could choose on the morning I wake up how I wanted it, with actually having to do anything to it...

Hmmm, possibly the tongue, mine just tends to be a little unsuitable for purpose, and ends up being bitten frequently. Something longer and more slender, perhaps forked fora bit of zaniness.

Mine certainly does.

Perhaps we could have hooves instead of feet. It would certainly eliminate the toe stubbing danger.

I've often wished my arms were detachable. I'm not the best sleeper in the world, and I really find my arms get in the way sometime. You would need some kind of arm butler to reattach them in the morning though.

Wow, brilliant idea!

I wake up so many times and try to get up and get mahoosive pins and needles down my arm. It's really painful!

What about teeth? Isn't there anyone out there who wishes that they could grow new ones when the old ones fall out?
