Just tried posting in the News forum and got the following after hitting the Submit button …

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Incorrect string value: '\xC4\x93 sma...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I'm not a PHPBB or database expert, but I suspect either a bug, or something to do with too may requests at once...

I wonder if Mark might have accidentally put a control character in his post, that the database didn't like.

Perhaps Mark is a l33t database haxxor and has been trying some SQL injection...He's acting like a n00b so we don't suspect him!
