As 'Babylon 5' had been said quite a few times in this thread I took the risk in just saying 'Babylon' thinking that people will still know what I'm talking about

As I said weird...
Thread derailment is something some around here try to make an art form of, so it's always best to be accurate about these things.
It's a sad day when accuracy gets classed as weirdness.

I got three minutes into ep1 and my pedantry went nuts - the altitude on the ship was shown in metres but the computer voice read out the same number as feet.

I'm not fond of the characterisation of Dr Smith, but I'll give it half a dozen episodes to hook me.

However good or bad it is, it can't be worst that the Matt LeBlanc film version.

Once you’ve spotted the original TV cast members, you can watch something better.

Well finished watching Lost in Space on Netflix

It started slow and I nearly gave up at least once but finally got to the "show" on the last episode

I do like Dr Smith though and there is a lot of room there to explore

I would say 2/5 but you could almost just watch Episode 9 & 10 and ignore the rest

Sounds like a revers of the original series which started off well, and then descended into some kind of camp pantomime. Were there any sentient carrots in the new series?

It's so well done I reckon it will find a new home. But Firefly. So fingers crossed.

Started watching Safe on Netflix yesterday. It looks rather good although Michael C Hall's (Dexter) British accent has a lot to be desired
